Two Years!

I can’t believe that it was 2 years ago today that I published my first blog post! I’ve learned so much in the last 2 years, both about cooking and blogging.

Snap Peas

One of my goals for the next year is to increase the community aspect of the blog. In other words, I hope for more comments! Have you tried any of my recipes? Did you like it, or not so much? What would you like to see?

Please comment on a post, fill out my comment form, post a comment on my Facebook page, or shoot me a tweet.

Happy eating!

Merry Christmas!

treeMerry Christmas to all of you who read my blog! I truly appreciate that you take the time to read my musings.

It is probably obvious that I have taken a blogging holiday. This is our family time, spent playing games, cooking traditional favorites, and spending those Christmas gift cards.

I’ll be back in January with new recipes for you. Happy New Year!

It’s Been a Whole Year!

Today is the one year anniversary of my very first blog post! I’ve had so much fun writing about my food creations. I thought a lot about what I would write about today, but in the end decided to share my list of favorite recipes in different categories.

crock pot apple oatmealBreakfast

My favorite breakfast recipe would have to be my Crock Pot Apple Oatmeal. It is so nice to wake up in the morning to a hot breakfast. It freezes well, too!

grilled Southwest pizzaMain Dish

Grilled Southwest Pizza is definitely my favorite main dish.  This recipe is so flexible, you can put almost anything on it!

green bean "casserole"Side Dish

I can’t decide which of my side dish recipes I like best, but the one I have been making most often is my Grilled Green Bean Casserole. It is so easy, tastes good, and there is no pan to clean up after dinner.

bock choy saladSalad

Again, another tough choice. Bok Choy Salad is high on the list, for sure. Just wish we got bok choy more often! (I should start buying it in the grocery store, maybe.)

healthy beet chocolate cakeDessert

I am a chocoholic, so the Healthy Beet Chocolate Cake recipe I shared has to be my favorite dessert.

So, now it is your turn. What are your favorite recipes from the past year? Please comment with your choices!

Happy eating!
