The list that came with my box said I was getting “Baby Spinach or Salad Mix,” so I had planned to use it as lettuce. However, when I opened the bag, the greens were too tough to eat raw. It looked like a mixture of chard and spinach. I decided to cook it up as a side dish for salmon.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ small onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning (I might use a bit more next time)
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- ½ cup water
- 8 cups greens, course chopped
- Heat oil in large skillet. Add onions and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients to pan. Cook down until greens are tender.
